In spite of its name, the business podcast The Bottom Line is about more than turning a profit. Hosted by the Drucker Institute's Rick Wartzman, it examines the ways business interacts with people and the environment, the future of work, and the meaning of corporate social responsibility.

Business leaders, radio journalists, and prominent writers all make appearances on the show, giving its content a pleasingly balanced feel. Take the episode titled "You Are What You Eat With Shake Shack's Randy Garutti and Screenwriter Rob Siegel," as an example. In the episode, Wartzman interviews Garutti, who runs a burger chain that pays its hourly employees well above market rate, and Siegel, who wrote a biopic about McDonald's mogul Ray Kroc. As you might expect, the conversations center around labor in the fast food industry. The interviewees' perspectives point to how demographics of people working in the industry are changing, and how responding to these changes by taking care of frontline workers can lead to good outcomes for organizations.
