Repair Feedback's Bad Reputation

The key component to being a good manager is giving good feedback.

Think about how you feel when someone says, "I'd like to give you some feedback." Or when one of your peers drops by your desk to tell you that you need to give one of your team members some tough feedback. Neither of those situations tends to generate good feelings or happy memories. That's why feedback has become a dirty word for so many of us.
