Results-Driven Design Maximizes Training Transfer

Performance-based evaluation provides actionable data to improve training effectiveness.

Many organizations spend a lot of money on training without knowing whether it will improve employee performance or resolve skills gaps. Research shows that most learning from training is wasted, with 60–90 percent of job-related learning unused. That is in part due to using knowledge transfer to build skills and in part due to overreliance on learner reaction to evaluate effectiveness of training.
