Every instructional designer I know has a familiar yet real issue when developing new content: too much material and too little time to present it. That is especially true for small teams or sole practitioners who may lack access to a content editor. Without a dedicated editor, it is critical for designers to self-edit—which may be a new skill that many L&D professionals have to acquire.
