Serving Up Mobile Career Support

Wednesday, April 1, 2020

Since 2015, through the Archways to Opportunity program, McDonald's has supported educational and career growth for employees at its company-owned and franchised restaurants. The program helps workers maximize their education benefits, offering them the chance to improve their language skills, earn a high school diploma, work toward college degrees, and access help making education and career plans with advisors. However, now employees can take the program with them on their smartphones wherever they go through the new Archways to Careers mobile application.

According to McDonald's, the app is designed to help restaurant employees get the most out of their learning benefits. With real-time help from advisors, employees can identify Archways to Opportunity programs that make sense for their goals. The app provides detailed information on each program, helps employees build education and career goals, and lets them check off items as they go.
