The problem with developing such a mindset is that individuals have learned to do the exact opposite—to play it safe in life. Remember the fairy tales you heard growing up, such as "Little Red Riding Hood"? Her mother told her to "Go straight to Grandma's, don't talk to strangers, and stay on the path."
