Action learning turns ordinary problem solving on its head, getting out of the usual groupthink mentality, eschewing the "management of agreement" rut, and doing away with organizational silence.


When a team commits to using action learning to solve a complex, immediate problem, the team creates a culture of in-depth communication, takes ownership of the problem, and may uncover internal conflict that gets resolved rather than continuing to simmer below the surface.
