Use Your Words Wisely

Managers have been faulted for not being good communicators, including the written word.

When people want to drive across the country on vacation, they don't just jump in the car, start driving, and determine their course as they go. They usually plot their trip so they have a sense of direction.

Similarly, you can't plunge into a piece of writing and figure it out as you go. You will waste time, and your credibility will suffer.
