GSA Announces New Transgender Bathroom Rule for Federal Buildings

The General Services Administration has announced that federal employees who identify as transgender will be able to use the bathrooms in federal buildings that match their gender identities. According to GSA Bulletin 2016-B1, filed by Denise Turner-Roth, GSA administrator, denying bathroom access based on gender qualifies as sex discrimination.
