To increase learning transfer from conference education sessions back to the workplace, ASTD has developed a variety of resources to support both speakers and conference participants. The Learning Transfer contest encouraged learners to tangibly apply what they learned at the ASTD 2010 International Conference & Exposition in Chicago back on the job. The winner won a complimentary registration for the ASTD 2011 International Conference & Exposition in Orlando and a conference session to tell their story and motivate others to transfer their own learning.
