Coaching to Overcome the Workplace “Shoulds”

Today's workplace is demanding. While the pressures are real and growing, many people allow their own expectations, assumptions, and fears to cause their already demanding lives to become even more frenzied and stressful. I call these internal messages "Shoulds." Common workplace Shoulds include:

  • feeling the need to be available 24/7
  • staying late to work on a report
  • working on a new assignment even though your plate is already full.
