This case study from Measuring ROI in Learning & Development (ASTD, 2012) is an evaluation of business impact and return on investment (ROI) for a knowledge management (KM) system within Global Consulting, Inc. The evaluation used a longitudinal design to measure impact and ROI across time and groups. Results showed a significant positive impact on productivity, based largely on the effect of time savings realized by leveraging a cost-effective KM system across a large population of employees.
