Local CEOs Identify Lehigh Valley Business Challenges

What contemporary issues are challenging Lehigh Valley businesses today? To find out, the Eastern PA chapter of ASTD invited 28 CEOs from local businesses to a breakfast and CEO Forum for a roundtable discussion. The business leaders identified several potential challenges and barriers to success: effective leadership, skilled employees who are empowered, and heightened competition. Discussion with ASTD chapter leaders focused on using workplace learning and development as a tool to surmount the challenges and maintain success.
