Music Delivers Brain-Based Learning

Music may be the original language. People, before they learned how to talk, likely vocalized in pitch. As language developed, music faded into the background, but never disappeared as a communication tool. It is still the universal language.

Smart learning professionals use music to communicate their message. One excellent example can be seen in the work of Hawaii-based history teachers Amy Burvall and Herb Mahelona.
