ABOUT ME

An Instructional Designer and Trainer focused on developing engaging learning experiences that incorporate the best of adult learning methodologies, graphic and visual design principles, and learning technologies. 

Experience includes over twenty years in Information Technology (IT), corporate and technical training, and 14+ years in the power energy industry.

Currently, designs, develops, and facilitates training for our external stakeholders.   Manages the training portfolio for all impacting training projects and initiatives within our training realm.  Serves as the staff secretary for SPP's Operations Training User Forum (OTUF) collaborating with external stakeholders, and an active member of several internal Business Resource Groups (BRGs) to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS)  from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, earned an Adobe Captivate Specialist certification in 2019, and Certified Online Training Professional (COTP) credential for virtual instructor-led training (VILT) in 2017.

An avid reader, wine nerd, and sketchnote geek who enjoys outdoor activities with family and friends.
