Anita Kinsler is currently employed by Marion County Board of County Commissioners where she has served since June 1984.
She began her career with Marion County Extension Service/University of Florida as a Receptionist, Staff Assistant II and then a Family, Youth and Consumer Sciences Program Assistant.
In March 2001, Anita was promoted Training Manager thenTraining and Recuiting Manager with Marion County Human Resources Department, where she now serves as Talent Manager. Her primary role includes employee and leadership development training for over 1,500 employees. In addition, she is also oversees the county volunteer program, retiring, facilitating the organizations Employee Suggestion Committee and S.T.A.R.S. (administrative professionals organization).
In Anita’s spare work schedule she networks as the recruiter for the organization to assist the agency with securing the most suitable candidates for a variety of available positions, which include, conducting interviews, assisting applicants with employment application, resume writing and Veterans Preference mandates. She is also responsible for verifying Veterans Preference employment and she oversees the organizations 457 Deferred Compensation accounts.
