Anita Kinsler is currently employed with the City of Ocala, as the Staff Development and Training Administrator; since April 2016.

 She began her staff development and training career with Marion County Extension Service/University of Florida as a Program Assistant with the Family, Youth and Consumer Sciences, starting in 1984 and secured a variety of responsibilities throughout her career.

In April 2016, retired from the Marion County Board of County Commissioners (Talent Manager for over 15 years).  She is currently employed with the City of Ocala, as the Staff Development and Training Administrator. Her primary roles includes employee and leadership development training for over 1,500 employees.

In addition, she is responsible for networking with local organizations and businesses to enhance the City’s recruiting efforts.  She assist with assisting departments in securing the most suitable candidates for a variety of available positions.  These duties include:  conducting interviews, assisting applicants with employment applications, assisting with resume writing, conducting mock interviews, and serving on a variety of business committees in support of the City’s recruiting efforts.
