ABOUT ME

DaKenya currently reports directly to the COO, partners with fellow Executive Team members to plan enterprise goals and objectives strategically, and collaborates with corporate and campus-level leaders and support staff to ensure key performance objectives are met.  DaKenya supports organizational goals and objectives through her role through the effective and performance-based oversight and leadership of functional leaders who manage 4 critical business functions: Financial Services, Compliance, Admissions, and Career Services.

 

DaKenya currently serves as Vice Chair and Commissioner (public) for The Accrediting Agency for Career Schools & Colleges, (ACCSC). She is a board member of the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Black Chamber of Commerce, (BRMBCC), a DEIB Committee member for the Junior League of Baton Rouge, and the founder of Business Besties Brunch, a quarterly networking, and professional development event for professionals and small business owners.   

 

DaKenya has the commitment to process improvement, building efficiencies through policies and procedures, and hiring, developing, and retaining talented staff. DaKenya has created, implemented, and executed various initiatives resulting in improved operations, continued compliance, and strengthened pathways to exceed organizational objectives. DaKenya’s strength is pushing boundaries to create supportive cultures that promote collaboration, communication, and consistency.
