Emmanuel Dalavai
ABOUT ME
Dr. Emmanuel V. Dalavai is a seasoned HR professional with 20+ years of relevant experience spanning multiple global industries, including healthcare, aviation/ aerospace, telecommunications, and nonprofit ministry. He has worked in the following areas for international Fortune 100 firms such as Boeing and AT&T: executive human resources, learning, training/talent development, strategy, sales and marketing, and customer service. He has held varying roles of increasing responsibility over his career, including corporate trainer, supervisor, manager, director, and executive director. He is a lifelong learner and president of EVD Enterprises, a consulting firm he started in 2003 that helps global business leaders better understand the complex worlds in which they live. Dalavai practices the principles of two important philosophies: “M-cubed” (making moments matter) and “B-cubed” (building business bridges).

Presently, he is an executive and leadership development coach at State Farm Insurance. Additionally, Dalavai is an adjunct professor at the University of Dallas and delivers guest lectures at many other academic institutions on various topics. He is an accomplished speaker, writer, and researcher and is passionate about sharing the positive aspects of emotional intelligence, servant leadership, and executive presence. He is licensed to utilize many of the popular assessment tools, such as Hogan, MBTI, DiSC, Executive Presence Index (ExPI), and others, which can provide leaders a baseline for growth and development.

Dalavai received his bachelor of arts degrees in both chemistry and French from the University of Kansas. He earned dual master’s degrees after beginning/completing his MBA and master’s in telecommunications management at Texas Christian University and the University of Dallas, respectively. He also holds a degree in project management from Stanford University and is a Stanford-Certified Project Manager (SCPM). Dalavai received his executive doctorate in business administration from the University of Dallas in Irving, Texas. He is fluent in several languages—most notably, French, Telugu, conversationally fluent in Spanish and Italian.
