George Hanshaw has more than 17 years of instructional design and training experience and works with subject matter experts to develop programs and courses for online offering. The focus of his current research is on the use of microlearning and social media for professional development. Hanshaw leads a microlearning and social learning coach certification solution for K-12 administrators with his company, Educational Leadership Solutions. This initiative was begun to facilitate a designer’s abilities to more deeply reach the affective domain of the learners through the creation of learning materials that are focused on building an interactive relationship between the learner and the curriculum.
