Holly Burkett, PhD, SPHR is an accomplished learning leader, change agent, talent builder, and performance consultant with over 20 years experience helping diverse public and private sector clients develop resilient learning and performance capabilities for increased employee engagement and operational excellence. Formerly with Apple, sample clients include the National Security Agency, Chevron, the National Park Service, Roche Biomedical, Intel, the State Bar of California, and the California Department of Transportation. Her passion for helping leaders leverage learning as a catalyst for high performance, culture change, and organizational resilience earned her a 2017 Global Training and Development Leadership Award.
As an Associate of the ROI Institute, Holly is a certified ROI professional (CRP) and also holds certifications as a change practitioner (PROSCI), a Senior HR professional (SPHR), and a certified performance technologist (CPT). She is a frequent speaker, coach, and international workshop facilitator, a long term volunteer with HRCI for SPHR/PHR exam development, and a select Learning Elite judge for CLOs BEST awards. Publications include the award-winning book "Learning for the Long Run” (2017), along with multiple contributions to ATDs Talent Development Body of Knowledge (TDBok), ATDs Foundation of Talent Development series, and ATDs "In Action" ROI casebooks. Her doctorate is in human capital development.
