Kali Maginity is a learning strategist based in Chicago, Illinois, where she is a senior instructional designer for Morningstar. After eight years in the training consulting space with Cognitive Arts (NIIT) and Infopro Learning, she developed a deep appreciation for the fast pace of agile learning analysis, design, and development across a wide spectrum of industries. In 2022, Maginity founded the ID Salon, a monthly, virtual meetup of women in instructional design for sharing best practices, discussing trends and research, and crowdsourcing solutions to participants’ real-world instructional design challenges.
