Kris Taylor

Kris Taylor is the founder of Evergreen Leadership ( ) and co-founder of LEAP Consulting ( )  Her many years of work experience are rich in variety – beginning in education and non-profit for 10 years before making a career change with RR Donnelley, a Fortune 200 company were in 14 years she fulfilled a number of roles from Human Resources to Operations to a corporate role in Learning and Development. In 2004, Kris went out on her own and has be a successful independent consultant consistently earning over $100K per year. Her initial consulting firm rebranded as Evergreen Leadership in 2011, where she partners with clients to create customized leadership development programs. Her firm specializes in fostering skills in agility, collaboration, relationship building, accountability and creativity. She writes, speaks, teaches and coaches leaders at all levels, from the C-suite to high potential emerging leaders. In all, Kris has served over 60 organizations, from small entrepreneurial firms to Fortune 100 organizations. 

On the faculty of Purdue’s Certificate Program in Entrepreneurship and Innovation for five years, Kris developed and taught a course on consulting, as well as a course entitled Your Entrepreneurial Career. It was there that she met Katie McNamee and so enjoyed helping Katie start her independent consulting firm, Elevate Online, that they decided to share what they had learned with others. They co-founded LEAP Consulting with Katie McNamee in 2017 to enable other professionals considering, launching or growing small independent consulting practices with practical advice, support and guidance.

Kris is also the author of author of The Leader’s Guide to Turbulent Times: a practical, easy-to-use guide to leading in today’s times. She holds a Master’s Degree from Krannert Business School at Purdue University and did her undergraduate work at West Virginia University.
