Dr. Mary McNevin is the Director of Talent Management for US Venture in Appleton, WI.  She is a growth-oriented talent management executive with 20+ years of experience in learning, talent management, succession planning and strategy development.  Her mission is to impact lives through learning and to create a competitive advantage through targeted talent initiatives.  

Recently, she has returned to Wisconsin after having served as the Chief Learning Officer of Signature Healthcare in Louisville, KY a healthcare organization with 20,000 employees and 130 facilities.  Prior to that, she was the Global VP of Talent Development and Organization Development at McCain Foods Ltd and launched the company’s first global learning center serving 55 facilities on six continents.  

McNevin earned her doctorate (EdD) from the University of Pennsylvania and Wharton School of Business. Her dissertation focused on Executive Coaching in the C-suite. Dr. McNevin also holds a MBA the University of Wisconsin – Madison and a MS in Education from the University of Pennsylvania. 

Outside of U.S. Venture, Dr. McNevin serves on the Advisory Board for St. Norbert’s Center for Exceptional Leadership, the Advisory Board for the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of GSE/Wharton executive doctoral program in Workplace Learning. She has served on the board of directors for Association for Talent Development serving over 100 US chapters and 120 countries.  Additionally, for several years she served on their Public Policy Council and as a BEST awards reviewer.  Currently, she serves on their board selection committee.  

Throughout her career, her teams have been recognized by Corporate University (CorpU) Xchange for Excellence and Innovation, ATD BEST awards, ATD Excellence in Practice Citations and CLO Magazine.
