Maryann Watson is the Director, User Experience for Defense Acquisition University, a learning and development organization in the US Department of Defense.  DAU prepares military and civilian leaders, in six acquisition functional areas, to work with defense and commercial industry to provide systems and services for our military.  Maryann is also an Executive Coach.  She served for 28 years in the US Air Force as a program director and portfolio manager, acquiring and sustaining major weapon systems and business systems for warfighting customers and supporting staffs.  She has a BS in Chemistry and an MBA.  Maryann continues to enjoy learning daily from her customers and her team mates.  What she really lives for is spending time with her husband, their two adult children, and their high energy Australian cattle dog, as well as peaceful communion with nature in her gardens.
