ABOUT ME

Sarah Schillen is a strategic and skilled talent development leader with extensive experience in designing and executing learning and performance-focused business solutions. Bringing more than 12 years of experience in the learning and organizational development space, she offers a rich foundation in leadership development, change management, and leading the learning function. When it comes to organizational learning programs, Sarah is known for designing scalable people-focused learning solutions that achieve stakeholder outcomes, deliver key business results, and offer an excellent learner experience.

Sarah’s specialty is in finding creative solutions that solve for both organizational challenges and performance/knowledge gaps. She does this while developing learning experiences that are fun, engaging, and meaningful. As an Industrial and Organizational Psychology Practitioner, Sarah is skilled at uncovering, diagnosing, and artfully maneuvering through unique combinations of group dynamics, organizational levers, and individual motivations operating within an organization.

With a particular passion for customer service and excellence, Sarah is most intimately familiar with the retail, hospitality, and professional services sectors. She is energized by helping people show up and thrive in their work environment as their best selves. She believes that with the right tools, process efficiencies, and intentional leadership, anyone can feel successful, empowered, and purpose-filled at work.

Sarah earned her Master of Arts Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Seattle Pacific University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Washington. She is certified by the ATD Certification Institute as a Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD). Sarah currently serves as President of the Board for the Puget Sound Chapter of the Association of Talent Development. Outside of work, Sarah loves enjoying live music and theater, traveling to experience new cultures, and spending quality time with friends.
