ABOUT ME

Shermaine Perry-Knights is the founder and chief learning officer at Innovation Consultants of DeKalb. She is an engaging educator and workforce development coach with a passion for creating aha moments and learning solutions.

Shermaine is viewed as a leader by peers and colleagues. She wears a strategic business partner hat, offering advice to executives for process improvement and employee development in her combined roles of instructional designer, project manager, senior trainer, teacher, and facilitator.

She has experience designing and delivering customized management and workforce development programs to classrooms ranging from 20 to 300 attendees. Shermaine has delivered content on topics including career pivots, employee experience, accountability, communicating across generations, leadership, project management, and conflict resolution. 

As a certified ATD Master Instructional Designer, Shermaine is knowledgeable about the development and facilitation of outcome-based learning programs. A certified CPTD, Shermaine earned her master of public administration and holds a bronze-level Kirkpatrick Four Levels evaluation certification. 

She is a contributor to the Association for Talent Development (ATD) community locally and nationally, volunteering time for ATD initiatives and presenting workshops. Her experience extends to nonprofit, city, county, and state government agencies.

Shermaine is recognized by ATD as the 2020 One to Watch.
