ABOUT ME

Dr. Treca Bourne, CPTD is the Talent Development Leader for Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board (CSB), where she leads agency-specific learning and development efforts for the largest publicly funded behavioral health and developmental disability agency in the Commonwealth of Virginia. She has also facilitated, led, and participated in multiple workgroups and communities of practice focused on business systems, e-learning, behavioral and mental health evidence-based practices, learning and development, social and racial equity, team effectiveness, and wellness and well-being.

Before joining CSB, Dr. Bourne was Manager, Technology Training & Multimedia Development and Adjunct Faculty at Prince George’s Community College (PGCC), where she led a creative and technical team in the production of instructional solutions and programs and facilitated courses to build the technology proficiency of faculty, staff, and students at an academic institution with over 25,000 students. Prior to her work at PGCC, she oversaw training, support, and communication efforts impacting the online learning experience at University of Maryland Global Campus, where she continues to teach. Her background includes work at additional colleges and universities as well as in management consulting and at a professional association.

Dr. Bourne earned a Doctor of Education in Higher Education via the Community College Leadership Doctoral Program at Morgan State University, a Master of Education in Educational Administration with an Adult and Higher Education Concentration from the University of New Orleans, a Graduate Certificate in E-Learning from George Mason University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Business Administration Minor from Loyola University New Orleans. Along with additional certificates and certifications, she is a Certified Professional in Talent Development. Dr. Bourne has served in volunteer capacities locally, regionally, and globally through organizations such as ATD, EDUCAUSE, and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dogs.
