ABOUT ME

Dr. Treca Stark Bourne is an award-winning talent development leader committed to developing healthy, inclusive, and effective individuals, teams, and organizations. She is the Talent Development Leader at Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board—the largest publicly funded behavioral health care provider in the Commonwealth of Virginia. In her work, she accelerates employee engagement, growth, and performance. 

Dr. Bourne has worked for organizations ranging from the largest in their class to near the smallest in their class. Her professional experience has been in health and human services, adult and higher education, and management consulting where she has led and facilitated efforts to develop people in and for the workplace. Additionally, she has published, presented, and been recognized and featured by organizations and brands such as the Association for Talent Development, Talent Management, and Senior Executive Media.

Dr. Bourne earned a Doctor of Education in Community College Leadership from Morgan State University, a Master of Education in Educational Administration from University of New Orleans, and a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Political Science with a Business Administration Minor from Loyola University New Orleans. Along with additional certifications and continuing education, Dr. Bourne is a Certified Professional in Talent Development, Certified 6 Team Conditions Advanced Practitioner, and Facet5 Accredited Practitioner.

In her spare time, she volunteers, teaches, and enjoys life with her family and friends.
