Wendy Gates Corbett, CPTD, is an organizational consultant, belonging researcher and author who works with employees and leaders in organizations to build belonging and identify the behaviors that create sustainable cultures where employees are connected, respected, and protected. She is an Adjunct Professor of Leadership and Management at Duke University.
She has trained more than 100,000 people over the past 20+ years. As the President of Signature Presentations, and a former global training executive, Wendy speaks all over the world about building belonging and the power of presence.
Wendy is a long-time board member of the Research Triangle Area (think ‘Raleigh, NC’) Chapter of ATD and a former ATD International Board of Directors member. Wendy proudly achieved the CPTD in 2009, served on the task force that developed the ATD Capability Model, and recently served as an SME evaluating the Inclusion capability.
She has coauthored two ATD Infolines on virtual training and a TD at Work on using visuals in presentations. She is also coauthor of SCORE! for Webinar Training: Enhanced Results for Webinar Training and a contributor to The ATD Handbook, The ATD Consulting Handbook, 101 More Ways to Make Training Active and 101 Ways to Make Learning Active Beyond the Classroom. Her own book, The Energy of Belonging: 75 Ideas to Spark Workplace Community, will be published in Fall 2023.
