Dennis Mankin
ABOUT ME

Mr. Mankin has an extensive professional background in human performance improvement, including 30+ years in senior management working in roles of consulting, performance coaching, training design and delivery, and organizational analysis in both government and commercial sectors worldwide.

 His specialty is in the study and application of Human Performance Technology (HPT) as it relates to training and organizational development issues. He was awarded a Certified Performance Technologist (CPT) in 2003 and currently is the Managing Partner and Senior Consultant at Platinum Performance Partners, an International training and consulting firm headquartered in Asheville, NC.

He is a co-author and co-publisher, with ATD, of the acclaimed Performance DNA™ processes and tools used by over 6,000 HPT analysts worldwide. In this capacity Mr. Mankin delivers workshops for ATD worldwide and also teaches these methodolgies at the university level. Mr. Mankin is also the co-author of Breaking Tape -7 Steps to Winning at Work and Life and numerous articles on HPT. 

Mr. Mankin assists organizations in meeting and exceeding aggressive and competitive organizational goals and improving overall business results through his ‘performance-based’ consulting and coaching practices.

His human performance coaching, consulting and training career includes working with organizations such as ATD, Wells Fargo, Dell Computers, Saudi Aramco, The Hartford, CitiFinancial, Metso, Humana, Hitachi, Pfizer, United States Coast Guard, Honda, Virginia Department of Transportation, Defense Intelligence Agency, and Orkin Pest Control, to name a few organizations.

Mr. Mankin’s professional, undergraduate and graduate studies include degree programs in behavioral psychology, interpersonal communications (from Western Michigan University) and facilitating the transfer of performance technology processes to others.

He is a well-respected thought leader in HPT and speaks on this subject at conferences and other events. He is also the author of many articles and white papers published on the art and science of HPT.
