ABOUT ME

Dr. Treca Bourne is committed to developing healthy, inclusive, and effective individuals, teams, and organizations. With a background in academia and industry, she is currently the Talent Development Leader at Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board, which is the largest publicly funded behavioral health care provider in Virginia. She also teaches and consults for academic and industry organizations like University of Maryland Global Campus, 6 Team Conditions, and ACT.

Dr. Bourne has led and contributed to multiple efforts to develop talent, such as leadership and team development, employee skill building and career development, worker wellness and wellbeing, diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace, employee onboarding and orientation, knowledge management and communities of practice, digital innovation in learning and work, and regulatory compliance training. She has also published and been featured by organizations and brands like Association for Talent Development, Senior Executive Media, and Talent Management.

Dr. Bourne earned a Doctor of Education in Higher Education and Community College Leadership from Morgan State University, a Master of Education in Educational Administration focused on adult and higher education from the University of New Orleans, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Business Administration Minor from Loyola University New Orleans. Along with other certificates and certifications, Dr. Bourne is a Certified Professional in Talent Development.
