Personality and Workstyle Assessment Tool Selection

My organization is seeking to use an assessment tool to improve self-awareness, team building and communication, like MBTI or DiSC.  As a next step, I'd like to illustrate to our leadership the strengths and considerations of different tools in order to make a decision about which one will best meet our business objectives and fit our culture.  I've put together quite a bit of data myself, but want to make it more comprehensive.  Does anyone have a reference or know of a service that provides a good comparison?

Laurie, I think the 1st step has to be how you will measure the impact to self-awareness, team building, & communication (yes I know that is not an easy step). I have done (as participant or trainer) DiSC, Myers Brigs, and several other tools over the years. To get the most out of them the business goals should drive you to which works best. Then the data can tell you something like "after DiSC attrition lowered by 1% and after Myers Brigs it lowered 5%" (*made up stats). Hope that helps.
