Blended Learning: A Five Dimensional Puzzle

Friday, September 21, 2018

Modern blended learning includes five elements: technology, design, people, place, and time. Learning happens perpetually. Our instructional designs, and the technology we use to deploy them, must support this reality. Blended learning design involves a much more complex equation than the one we used for traditional face-to-face (or even online) training solutions. We now must integrate learners, content, instructional teams, and technology into every piece of the learning process. To complicate things further, our learners embark on personal learning pathways, engaging with the parts of the design they need to meet their goals. During this session, Jennifer will share: * The five pieces of the blended learning puzzle * Ways to ensure the right content is in the right place at the right time * How to support various personal learning pathways in a single program
