Many people are asking if it's time to bring mindfulness to their leadership development efforts? How would they go about doing so? How do they get support for such a program? This session defines what it means to be mindful, reviews the demonstrated benefits of mindfulness, and explains how both are relevant to developing new workplace skills and leadership capabilities. First, you will experience mindfulness through exercises you can implement at your own organization. Then we'll discuss how you can implement a mindfulness program at your own organization by exploring common barriers and how to overcome them, as well as studying specific ways other organizations have introduced mindfulness programs.
