Today's managers face unprecedented challenges as they seek to attract and engage the most diverse workforce in history. While research tells us that diverse organizations outperform more homogeneous companies, it's not as simple as just getting a diverse group of people into the room. We can't harness the power of diversity until we stop making people feel isolated. Technology has also transformed the workforce, allowing organizations to engage a truly global, mobile workforce.
