Day 1

8:30 a.m. Welcome and Review of Learning Objectives
After a welcome and event overview, we will briefly review the research on the increasing pace of change in the workplace to frame why a practical change management methodology is important for business leaders. Participants will complete an assessment on how well their team is reaching the five milestones of this model.

• Understand how the rapid pace of change is affecting your business.
• Identify areas of change management strength and challenge for your team.

9:15 a.m. Developing Business Acumen
Using highly interactive, real-world-focused activities and practices, participants will learn and apply tools to increase business acumen in their organization.

Learning Objectives:
• Examine the assessment implications for business acumen on your team.
• Learn and practice how to deliver your own 60-second change speech to increase change urgency.
• Discover a process to synchronize your team around the same top priorities.
• Know how to use SMA to create action and progress during rapid change.

11:30 a.m. Sparking Innovation
Participants will examine how to better meet customer (internal or external) needs through innovation. Additionally, they will analyze the state of trust in their teams, and what they can do to increase it as a means of fostering more risk taking.

Learning Objectives:
• Examine the assessment implications for innovation on your team.
• Better understand your customers’ needs as the foundation for innovation.
• Understand how willing your team is to make mistakes, a predictor of innovation.
• Learn one simple step to take each day to increase team innovation.

1:30 p.m. Busting Silos
Despite the highly connected digital world in which we live, silos still exist and thrive. In this section, we will help participants break up silos with their key stakeholders.

Learning Objectives:
• Examine the assessment implications for silos within your organization.
• Identify the five most important stakeholders in your organization.
• Analyze these five stakeholders to determine how to improve your relationships with them rapidly.
• Discover live and virtual methods for breaking up silos.
• Plan to increase the positivity factor in your key relationships quickly.

3 p.m. Energizing the Team
The most common misperception leaders have is that people can be as motivated and energized during a time of change as they are during a steady state. Participants will learn what they can do to increase engagement as much as possible during rapid change.

Learning Objectives:
• Examine the assessment implications for your team’s energy levels.
• Learn and practice strategies for handling complaints and resistance during rapid change.
• Explore the seven people you have to convince and how to convince them while managing change.
• Discover how to air emotions productively and energize your team.

Day 2

8 a.m. Personal Engagement
The foundation of successful change management is an engaged team. We will share our personal engagement dashboard, which we use with teams around the world to discover what is needed to boost engagement. Then, participants will apply the personal engagement dashboard to themselves and their teams.

Learning Objectives:
• Examine the assessment implications for your team’s energy levels.
• Learn the five key questions to increase your personal engagement as well as your team’s engagement.

10 a.m. Managing Change in a High-Tech, Multicultural World
Leveraging the best practices of rapid training, participants will develop a training plan to help their organizations manage change.

Learning Outcomes:
• Review real-world change management training best practices.
• Share participants’ best practices for change management.
• Create your own training plan for change management in your organization.

11:45 a.m. Wrap Up and Action Planning
In this section, participants will review their insights and create an action plan for implementation back at work.
