The ALC PAC is a national advisory committee composed of chapter leaders partnering with ATD staff to develop and deliver the annual ATD Chapter Leaders Conference (ALC).

The ALC PAC is charged with reviewing and recommending session proposals for ALC, identifying programming gaps, and recommending topics and speakers to fill those gaps. They provide coaching for session speakers to ensure success and serve as the host committee during the conference.

Each year the ALC PAC accepts applications from chapter leaders interested in joining the advisory committee. Candidates should have served at least one year as a chapter board member. Current chapter leaders should not apply to serve on the ALC PAC during the year of their presidential term.

As of 2024, the ALC PAC term is two years in length. The term typically runs from August through June. Effective ALC PAC members are innovative, creative, collaborative, inclusive, results-driven, action-oriented and work well in both virtual and in-person team settings.

While the ALC PAC serves in an advisory capacity, the ATD Staff Members are responsible for the event logistics and planning, including schedule, location, session selection, speaker coaching, networking, and marketing.
