SUMMARY: The Nashville Chapter launched a Board Recognition Survey to learn board members’ favorite things, important dates, and preferred recognition styles. By using this information, the president and president-elect have been able to celebrate birthdays, acknowledge milestones, and give personalized gifts throughout the year—making recognition more consistent and meaningful. This effort has boosted board engagement, strengthened relationships, and set the stage for extending personalized recognition to other volunteers, speakers, and partners in the future.
