Completion Requirements: ATD Education Programs

To receive the certificate of completion and continuing education credits, you must participate in all originally scheduled days of the program, including both face-to-face and live online formats. Completing all coursework and a program evaluation are mandatory.
Face-to-Face Programs:
If you miss more than two hours, you will not be eligible to receive the certificate.
Make-up policy: There is no make-up policy for face-to-face programs.
Live Online Programs:
ATD requires active participation throughout the program to receive credit. Active participation in live online sessions includes, but is not limited to, participating in virtual classroom activities, discussions, breakout sessions, and intersession work.
Make-up policy: You can miss and make up one session* by listening to a session recording. Instructions for reporting make-up sessions are posted on ATD’s learning platform.
*For live online programs with full-day sessions, you can miss a maximum of three and a half hours and must make up the time by listening to the recording.
Fundamentals Programs:
To receive the certificate of completion and continuing education credits, you must participate in all originally scheduled days and sessions of Fundamentals programs, including both face-to-face and live online formats. Completion of all coursework and a program evaluation are mandatory.
If you miss any part of the scheduled program, you will not be eligible to receive the certificate.
Make-up policy: There is no make-up policy for Fundamentals programs.
ATD Master programs are blended learning experiences that occur over multiple weeks. To earn the ATD Master designation and continuing education credits, you must participate in all originally scheduled days of the program, including both face-to-face and online program components (if applicable), and complete all coursework and a program evaluation.
Face-to-Face Program Components (if applicable)
You can miss no more than two hours of the entire face-to-face program.
Make-up policy: There is no make-up policy for face-to-face components.
Live Online Program Components (if applicable)

Asynchronous Program Components
New content will be available on ATD’s learning platform each week. All activities, assessments, and project work must be completed within the week they are assigned.
Please note: You must use a laptop to fully and actively participate in these programs. In addition to your full participation, you must complete your post-course evaluation to receive your certificate.

Completing the on-demand program fully within the 12-month access period is mandatory to receive CEUs and credits. This includes completing all required reading, activities, and assignments. When you complete all aspects of the program, you will see your completion status reflected on your transcript in MyATD.
