About Our Talent Development Certifications
The ATD Certification Institute aims to provide world-class credentials for talent development professionals. We achieve this by creating talent development profession-wide standards, ensuring recognition through certification, and ensuring continued professional development through recertification.
The Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD®) and the Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD®), are globally recognized, practice-based credentials grounded in the Talent Development Capability Model™. Both require candidates to have hands-on experience in talent development, as well as a solid foundation of talent development concepts, prior to taking our standardized, and written exams.

All ATD Certification and exam preparation resources are offered in English. Preparation resources have been translated from English to the languages below. The APTD exam is available in these languages. The CPTD is offered in English only.
