ATD is focused on the growth and support of the higher education community and offers many opportunities for college and university faculty. You are invited to participate in virtual learning sessions, professional development, peer-to-peer networking, and take advantage of a variety of resources to help incorporate the ATD Competency Model and content into classroom curriculum.

ATD 2018 is the largest event for talent development professionals worldwide, covering the entire industry, including a track especially for those in higher education. The higher education track highlights trends and topics influencing a community where students, faculty, and practitioners collaborate with talent development professionals to develop a stronger workforce.

WHAT IS CURRICULUM AND COURSE MAPPING? The process of mapping creates a blueprint of a curriculum or course to make it easy to identify whether desirable competencies and objectives are included.
  • ATD's more than 100 chapters across the country offer many opportunities for students to connect with local practitioners and keep up with industry trends.

Pilot a Case Study in Your Course
We are offering faculty the opportunity to pilot ATD Research case studies in your courses. ATD will provide you with a complimentary copy of the case study in addition to a study guide for your students to use as a resource or to guide discussions. At the end of the pilot, we’d ask that you provide feedback and testimonials. Learn More!
