Affinity Groups in a Diverse Workforce

Agencies thrive when individuals who share a common bond are enabled to share ideas and discuss problems.

Survival of the fittest is the all-too-familiar Darwinian phrase that justifies why organizations facing competition need to adapt to changing conditions. These days, the "fittest" organizations must find ways not only to survive, but to thrive. Through my research and recent experience working in two federal agencies, affinity groups have become a burgeoning initiative that appea
