I was fortunate to have been able to attend the ATD 2018 International Conference in sunny San Diego in May. I walked away with so many great ideas and felt freshly motivated. While President Barack Obama’s keynote was amazing, what really touched my soul was Marcus Buckingham’s general session. His concept of the red thread was inspiring. Red threads are both what you love to do and what you are good at doing. He advised everyone to go back to their offices and spend a week making a list of tasks divided into those you love and those you don’t.
