Patricia A. McLagan, a former ASTD Board member, is CEO of McLagan International and a new strategy implementation business, GoalStreams. She is author or co-author of The Age of Participation: New Governance for the Workplace and the World; On-the-Level: Performance Communication that Works; Change Is Everybody's Business (all Berrett-Koehler publications), Designing Programs for Adults (Addison Wesley), and The Shadow Side of Power: Lessons for Leaders.
