A system-minded leader with more than 10 years of experience in workforce development, corporate training and project management. Dawn is a local artist and painter, a grass roots activist and an adult educator. While using her talents to bring awareness to issues plaguing her community, she also leverages her knowledge of diversity, equity and inclusion to promote equitable progress in the Memphis Community. A problem solver who successfully gets initiatives off the ground, plans effective programs and forms strong community partnerships using design thinking techniques and transformational leadership. 

Dawn has earned a Bachelor of Liberal Studies from the University of Memphis in education, psychology and sociology, a Masters of Adult Education and Leadership and a Masters Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership. She really enjoys networking & collaborating with other leaders in her professional and social communities and is highly invested in supporting the Memphis community through volunteerism and service-learning activities.
