ABOUT ME

 I was born in small West Texas rural community. I come from a family of 10 and am number 9 in the ranks of siblings. I am family oriented  and love to be around people as you can see by my family size. I attended Hendricks School of Vocational Nursing at the age of 19 and then went on to pursue my Associate of Science in  Nursing  from San Angelo State University. I was very fortunate to work Baylor University Medical Center in their Liver/Kidney Transplant unit as a staff and charge nurse for 5 years. I married and had 3 beautiful daughters during this time.  I then went on into Managing a Federally Qualified Health Center in Dallas for 12 years.  I then went into Case Management for 10 years and obtained my certification  in case managment during this time I worked for a large corporate insurance company. . I am currently in a position of Patient clinical educator and in the process of obtaining my certification in Diabetes Education.  I enjoy helping and making a difference with education in health and well being . For fun, I enjoy running, hiking, dancing, and completing obstacle courses with like minded individual. I love team work!
