ABOUT ME

I am a 5th-year Ph.D. Candidate at The University at Albany, State University of New York Industrial Organizational Psychology department. My research streams explore the influence of personal and contextual factors on individual motivational processes as they relate to individual and organizational outcomes in three different areas: organizational cybersecurity behaviors (e.g., policy compliance and violation), training and development (i.e., employee learning), and financial insecurity. My research addresses these issues by (a) evaluating the proximal and distal antecedents within each area, (b) exploring mediating and moderating mechanisms, and (c) identifying effective individual and organizational interventions that change employee behavior to reach organizational goals.
