ABOUT ME

My background includes experience in corporate, nonprofit and city government positions.  I have worked in financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, board development, training development, training delivery and the management of training programs.  My desire is to help the employees in my division to be better equipped to not only do their current job, but also to be prepared to assume new positions if they have the interest in pursuing different career paths.

I want to be better able to track the effectiveness of training and to have the training that is delivered to really make an impact on the learner and the organization.  I want people to feel that professional development is not just for a few, but is a right for all. I desire to learn new ways to effectively deliver training other than the customary in-person method.  I always like my training classes to be interactive and engaging and I want to have more methods available to meet the needs of different staff members. I also have the desire to learn how to use different technology.
