ABOUT ME

I have extensive instruction and course design experience. I began my instructional career as a high school biology teacher and moved into adult education several years later. As a pilot, I specialized in designing and instructing flight crews in Crew Resource Management. I have worked for airlines across the globe.

During my time working with the airlines I earned my doctorate in educational leadership by researching and designing leadership development courses for airline captains. My research has been cited and referenced in a major airlines training program.

I bring both educational and corporate knowledge to the classroom for lively discussion topics. I strive to design real-world scenarios to teach problem solving. I also teach an online leaderhsip course to teenagers in an effort to give back  and for the joy of working with teens. I enjoy biking and cooking in my free time.
