The deadline for registering for the last testing windows of both the current APTD and CPLP. If you feel prepared to test for either exam under the current content, mark this date on your calendar!

Applications Open for New Exams

The application portal will open for the new APTD and CPTD exams. There are 3 testing windows for each exam in the second half of 2020. See all testing dates for the new APTD and CPTD on their respective sites.
May 6-27

Final Testing Window for CPLP Knowledge Exam

May 6-27 is the final testing window for the CPLP Knowledge Exam, the first of two required exams as part of the current CPLP exam process. You must register by March 16 for this testing window.
June 3-24

Final Testing Window for Current APTD and CPLP Skills Application Exams

June 3-24 is the final testing window for the current APTD exam. You must register by March 16 to take the APTD during this window. It is also the final testing window for the CPLP Skills Application Exam, the second of two required exams as part of the current CPLP exam process. You must pass the CPLP Knowledge Exam to register for the Skills Application Exam.
July 6-30

First Testing Window for the New APTD Exam

The first testing window for the new APTD exam is July 6-30. You must register by June 6 for this testing window.
August 5-26

Pilot Testing Window for the New CPTD Exam

The first testing window for the new CPTD exam is August 5-26. If you would like to stay updated on what incentives will be offered to participate in this pilot exam please fill out the form on the CPTD exam page.
