ABOUT ME

Grey joined the City of Baytown in 2016 as an HR Manager, responsible for Performance Management, Compensation, Change Management, and Training and Development. In 2021 he became the organization's first Talent Development Manager. He has over 23 years of HR and training experience in several different industries and is a retired US Air Force veteran. He has spent over 6 years directing development of the PHR, SPHR, and the California certification exams. He has authored and delivered multiple facilitations and workshops designed for all levels of the organization and is a certified coach through the Lumina Learning body.  He serves as faculty at two accredited universities, earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia as well as his Master’s degree from Central Michigan University. He is also a published wildlife and nature photographer.
